Being a wedding planner and a bride was a tough job. There was absolutely an expectation that we had to create the best wedding ever. We did, of course but because we made it totally 'us', not because I am a wedding planner (although it helped).

All of those 'you can't have that at a wedding' vibes, we threw in the bin. There were a number of suppliers who did not want to celebrate our modern gothic theme, they didn't get our booking (of course) and now look at how incredible it turn out to be!
